We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our B2C team and play a key role in shaping the future of our marketplace.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in our frontend architecture—contributing ideas, challenging frameworks, and helping define best practices to minimize technical debt. As a hands-on engineer with an architectural mindset, you’ll support the delivery of scalable, high-performing, and SEO-friendly solutions. Your expertise in SSR, SSG, Core Web Vitals, Accessibility, SEO, and Web Performance Optimization will be key to creating a seamless experience for users as they navigate our marketplace.
What Will You Do
By joining our Engineering team, you’ll have a real voice in technical decisions, take ownership of your work, and play an integral role in our mission to disrupt the music event industry and shape the future of live experiences. As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll be expected to:
- Develop and maintain high-quality React components for both our B2C website (xceed.me).
- Implement new features and enhancements for public-facing pages with a focus on SEO, SEM, accessibility, and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with Web Accessibility guidelines (WCAG) to provide an inclusive experience for all users across both B2C and B2B applications.
- Leverage Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) with Next.js to enhance performance and user experience on public-facing pages.
- Understands how the xceed backend platform is built and will optimize and improve its usage.
- Continuously monitor and optimize Web Performance, ensuring applications meet modern standards, including Core Web Vitals.
- Write and maintain unit and end-to-end (E2E) tests to ensure the reliability and quality of the codebase.
- Collaborate closely with the design and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs and UI/UX designs.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges, focusing on logic, scalability, and delivering high-quality user experiences.
The Skills You Bring
- 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development with React.js and Next.js, with a strong focus on SEO, Web Accessibility, and Web Performance Optimization.
- Practical experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and optimizing for Core Web Vitals.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests (e.g., Vitest, React Testing Library) and end-to-end tests (e.g., Playwright).
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience working on public-facing websites or marketplaces, demonstrating expertise in SEO/SEM, accessibility, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows such as GitFlow.
- Bonus: Experience with TailwindCSS and component-driven development workflows.
- A results-driven developer who enjoys solving logical challenges and building scalable solutions.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills in English, comfortable working in multicultural and cross-functional environments.
- Someone who is eager to grow, innovate, and make an impact in a fast-paced environment while working on exciting projects.
Our current stack includes modern technologies like React, Next.js, TailwindCSS, React Query, Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright (or Cypress), and Storybook.
